Can the strata amend LCP on a strata plan filed by a developer?

The owner developer may designate common property as limited common property on the strata plan that is filed with the Land Title Office for specific purposes.

The strata council cannot make any changes to the strata plan. Amending a strata plan to designate or remove a designation of limited common property requires a resolution to be passed by a unanimous vote at an annual or special general meeting. This means every owner in the strata corporation must vote in favour of the resolution. If passed a reference or explanatory plan prepared by a BC Land Surveyor must be filed at the Land Title Office along with a Certificate of Strata Corporation (Form E).
