The workshop is aimed at both those stratas that have a licensed strata manager and those that do not but are wondering if they should explore the possibility.

Self-managed stratas who are considering the switch to professional management will learn about the options, and the benefits and costs of hiring a management company, as well as tips on how to choose the right company and how to negotiate the agency agreement.

Professionally-managed stratas – no matter how long they have had management in place – will learn about the day-to-day operational tasks expected of the manager, and how those expectations compare to the reality, as well as details on the management of the strata’s facilities and financials. They will also learn how to measure and evaluate the corporation’s satisfaction with the management company, how and when to cancel a contract, and how to transition to a new company.

The workshop will be facilitated by Sandy Wagner, President of VISOA, and Rob Boyko, a very experienced licensed property manager and consultant.

The workshop will be held at the Union Club in Victoria.  The cost for this full day workshop is $75, including lunch at the Club and handouts. Participation will be limited to 20.

 Please Note:
To secure a seat for this workshop payment must be received.  To instantly confirm your registration use a credit card.  This can be done using PayPal (which accepts your Visa, Mastercard, etc.) when you click on “submit”.  You do NOT need your own PayPal account.  You can then submit the receipt you immediately receive from PayPal along with the emailed registration form to your strata for reimbursement if eligible.  

Cancellation Policy:  With one week’s notice, you may cancel and receive a full refund.  With less than one week’s notice, you may receive a refund less a $25 administration fee.  Refund may be your choice of cheque mailed to you, or credit towards a future workshop. With no notice, no refund is possible.
